January 2020 PSA

To All Our Saddle Lake


Please be advised that your January 2020 PSA, Books & Supply Allowance will be distributed on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 18TH instead of Friday, December 20th as noted in our 2019/2020 Student Policy Handbook.  We made this change, as our office will be closed from 12:00 pm Thursday, December 19, 2019 and reopen on January 6, 2020.  If you have any questions, or concerns regarding the new distribution date, amount or information in general, please call any of the Post Secondary Staff at the office before noon Thursday.

Heads up to all our UnBQ Post Secondary Students

EMMA JACKSON, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine – University of Calgary


Emma Jackson graduated from the Univeristy Of Calgary’sBachelor of  Science – Zoology Major with Distinction in June 2018.  She also was nominated and was awarded the Dean’s Entrance Award worth $2,500.

Emma is now taking the Universtiy of Calgary’s – Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program that started Fall 2018 and will end 2022.   We are very proud of all Emma’s past accomplishments and look forward to supporting her as she moves forward in her educational endeavours.

Happy New Year

Wishing all our Post Secondary Students a Happy New Year!


January 2019 has arrived and so starts a brand new academic term.  The Saddle Lake Post Secondary Staff would like to wish you all the best and hope that your term has commenced with any concerns.  We are in the process of finalizing tuition payments and want to remind students to submit your fall 2018 statement of marks, winter 2019 course schedules/timetables and your winter application form.  For those students who have submitted the necessary documents, your prompt submission is much appreciation.

Attention all Continuing SLPS Students:

Students who have already been approved for the the 2018/2019 academic year  

  • If you have not filled out our Winter application and submitted these documents to us already, please do so today.  Along with your application we will require your Winter 2019 Course Schedule / Timetable and your Fall 2018 Statement of Marks as soon as you have access to them.  You can either scan Email to:

For Prospective Students:

  • If you were applying for sponsorship through SLPS for a January 01st start, you should have already submitted the following, on or before Monday, October 15, 2018, if you have not, our next application deadline is June 01st for September 2019 start:
    • As a Returning Student:
      • SLPS Winter 2019 Sponsorship Application and Waiver form;
      • Acceptance Letter from your institution;
      • Recent transcripts from all educational institutions that you have attended in the past;
      • Confirmation of Course Registration (January – April 2019);
      • Updated Career Plan (if it’s been more than 5 years);
      • Tuition Assessment Fees;
    • As a New Student:
      • all the above plus Eligibility confirmation from Saddle Lake Membership;
      • Career Plan
