Welcome!
On behalf of the Saddle Lake Post Secondary Staff, I would like to welcome back all our continuing students and a special “Welcome Aboard” to our new students. It has been a very busy summer, ensuring that our students have completed the application process. On July 5, 2017, we had our Post Secondary Sponsorship Review and are pleased with the number of students that we will be moving forward in the 2017/2018 academic year. Thank you to all the students who made it out to our annual student orientation held in St. Paul on August 18th and to the Education Board and staff that were able to join us.
It is always good to hear your stories of success and how you are able to navigate life challenges as a full time or part time student. Through your stories and your feedback, we are able to deliver, develop and plan a strong post secondary program.
Thank you to Bernadine Houle-Steinhauer, Director for being an amazing advocate and to Debra Cardinal, Superintendent of Schools for her support as we move forward each year.
We also had to say good bye to Pamela Large who was our Administrative Assistant for the past 5 years. Pamela has decided to continue on with her own educational journey and we wish her all the best and a successful academic year. We say welcome to Melodee Duckchief who will be taking over the reigns as our new Administrative Assistant and ask that you all stop by the office and say hello to her.
As for myself, I would like to wish you all a great year and I’m pleased to be assisting you to forward each year. Please know that we are here to assist you, and welcome your questions or to hear your concerns to ensure you all have a fabulous year.
